Improve Browsing Speeds with a Mesh WIFI System

A mesh Wi-Fi system can improve Wi-Fi speeds by creating a unified and expansive network that eliminates dead zones and signal interference. With traditional single-router setups, Wi-Fi coverage can be inconsistent, leading to slower speeds and dropped connections in certain areas of the home or office. A mesh Wi-Fi system, on the other hand, uses multiple access points that work together to provide seamless and uniform coverage throughout the entire area.

By strategically placing these access points, the mesh Wi-Fi system optimizes signal strength and distribution, resulting in improved speeds and reliability across the network. Additionally, the system intelligently directs devices to the nearest access point, reducing latency and improving overall network performance. As a result, users can experience faster Wi-Fi speeds and more reliable connections, making activities such as streaming, gaming, and large file downloads more efficient and enjoyable.

What Exactly is Mesh WIFI?

Mesh WiFi is a whole home and building WiFi system built to eliminate dead zones and to provide uninterrupted WiFi throughout a large area.
Mesh systems enables devices in your network to have faster speeds, greater coverage, and a more reliable connection. While traditional routers transmits WiFi from a single point, mesh WiFi systems have multiple  points.

When one unit links to the modem, that unit becomes the main hub. The other units (called “nodes”) will capture and rebroadcast the router’s signal. The result is an efficient wireless network that provides a strong signal no matter where you are.

Is your WIFI slow or Unreliable?

Your WIFI is basically a system that distributes your internet around your home or office.  WIFI can be problematic due to the following reasons,

The WIFI equipment is not correctly suited to the incoming internet speeds.

You may be expecting the internet speeds that you pay your service provider for, but, your WIFI equipment may be preventing you from getting these speeds..  WIFI devices such as access points are rated to a maximum bandwidth. The bandwidth limit is effectively how fast packets of data can be transmitted and received.  As an example,  your internet speeds are 500 MBPS but your WIFI system is only rated at 300 MBPS. With this example, you would only get up to 300 MBPS internet speed.

The WIFI equipment in incorrectly installed.

Incorrectly installed WIFI equipment can cause significant problems to internet speed and reliability. WIFI equipment should be installed correctly and as per the manufacturers guidelines.  All network wiring should be suitable and all connections should be terminated properly.

Unsuitable WIFI equipment has been used.

There are lots of WIFI products available, so choosing the correct product is important. Factors such as building structure, size and the amount of people using the internet needs to be taken into consideration. In some cases a single WIFI access point will be sufficient, and in larger sites, a multi point access point system or a mesh WIFI system is more suited.
